The title of this entry comes from a beautiful mouse pad sitting beside me. Stupid laibrary (ooh I like that one) computers won't let me go to half of the websites I want because they're judged to be "commerce"-oriented. Covenant won't let you onto anything close to a porn site (including Victoria's Secret's website), and the library won't let me onto my book discussion site because it so happens to also be a place to sell books. I see what they're trying to do. Covenant - "Mommas, don't let your babies grow up to be pedophiles." Chattanooga Public Library - "Capitalism sucks. Trust us. We don't trust you."
I have not yet a job offer. I have one rejection. 'Scool. My future will be like a Christmas present, then. And I am like the kid who has so little conception of "a week" that Daddy won't tell me how far away Christmas morning actually is. "Soon," that's all I know.
Meanwhile I will pray for my car not to die, go to Yum Yum's with my sister and other fun people, go home to bed, sleep well and dream of large paychecks.
Posted by tuggy at 06.16.04 17:29How is Yum Yum's these days? Its been ages since I've been there. Did the owner mention whether he's finished seminary or not yet?
Posted by: Joel at 06.16.04 22:41It was my first time there, and the food wasn't as spectacular as I'd been led to believe. But it was fun. And no, he didn't mention it. Though I saw an awful lot of Christian books around, which surprised me.
